Corporate and Commercial Law

The Firm offers support to the Company secretary of the company by performing all duties associated therewith. This would usually include:

  • Extracting Board and shareholder resolutions for filing and registration with the Registrar of Companies,
  • Filing all company forms and other companies Act statutory returns with the Registrar of Companies, and
  • Guiding the company secretary and the company on company Law and good corporate governance.

Act as a principal legal advisor to the company and its Board of Directors in respect to company Law and corporate matters, Labour law, land law and other legal issues that may arise. Act as the company’s principal legal advisor and external counsel in relation to all issues and matters pertaining to Ugandan Laws including issuing legal opinions on any matters arising and attending meeting and negotiations to resolve legal matters. Act as legal counsel for company in court and drafting pleadings on behalf of the company.

Conveyance and Land Transactions
