Mr. Hamza is an Advocate in active legal practice in Uganda in particular and in East Africa in general and his areas of specialty are; Environment Law and Policy, Civil Law, Intellectual Property and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Civil and Commercial Litigation, Immigration Law and Land Matters

Mr. Muwonge has led numerous teams in a cross section of both transactional and litigation matters at the firm. He has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation and has tried over 100 cases as lead counsel. He has expertise in case analysis, development and implementation of case strategy, and has engaged in the preparation and negotiation of various contractual transactions over the course of his career.

He has successfully represented several local and international clients in varied sectors including telecommunications, banking and finance, oil and gas as well as public bodies and government agencies.

He has distinctive litigation experience and has appeared before all the courts of record in Uganda as well as the East African Court of Justice. He is gifted litigator and is effective, efficient and expeditious in court.

He previously practiced with M/s Nyanzi, Kiboneka & Mbabazi Advocates a reputable law firm with over 30 years of experience. He is a former senior lecturer at Islamic University of Uganda, Faculty of Law, Kampala Campus.
