Abdul is currently working with the Litigation and Taxation Department of the firm. He specializes in Commercial and Civil Litigation, Taxation Litigation and Tax Advisory.
Abdul holds a Bachelors Degree of Laws from the Islamic University In Uganda, a Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre–Rwanda, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LDC), a Diploma in Taxation from the East African School of Law and Taxation (PODITRA).
Further, he has experience in commercial transactions as well as general administration of companies with considerable experience in a wide range of company issues spanning across formation, corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, trademarks, taxation and labour laws. Abdul is an authorised legal practitioner in the Republic of Rwanda which further which has enhanced our cross boarder practice.
Abdul is in charge of all firm work at the Uganda Registration Bureau and supervises all litigation cases, in particular liaising with the relevant counsel and court to ensure proper and effective management of clients’ cases.
